So I said to myself....why not????
I'm technology challenged and English was always my worst subject but I thought...what the heck!
So.....Thanksgiving was Thursday. We almost had curry chicken instead of Turkey! Here's what happened.
We had the turkey fryer in the shed that was locked it a master's lock. Gerry couldn't find the lock to the shed. So I woke him up at 7am to look for the key. He was cool, calm and collected when he woke up. "I have a spare", he said. Well....the spare key was NOT to the lock on the shed. So I ran to K-Mart, which was the only store open on Thanksgiving...and of course they sold out of turkey fryers!!! Finally Earl called and said we could borrow his fryer but it was at his mother's house. So I ran to his mother's house to pick up the fryer and his step dad, Derrick, said he had the perfect tool to cut the lock. He pulls out this HUGE electric sword and says "tell Gerry to watch his fingers." OH LORD!!! So I bring it home....Gerry and Earl are trying to saw the lock off. It sounds like a freight train in the back yard. Finally I said pull the lock off. I go over and cut the handle with a tool and waa-laa ...the door opened!!
Hold to your hats folks and welcome to my crazy life!
