Unbeilevable

Yesterday I was awoken by a phone call stating that the elementary school at the corner of my house was on the news. Apparently, a 9 year old boy brought a loaded .45 - caliber semiautomatic handgun to school. Can you imagine being a parent f a child in that school? I can.....in fact Juwan was supposed to go to that school. What was the child thinking??? Where were his parents??? What was he planning to do with a gun...in school? Where would a 9 year old get a gun??? What made him think he could use it...in school????

I thought about it over and over again! I had conversation with plenty of friends and family. It disturbs me that a boy my son's age could think that bringing a gun to school could solve any problem that he may have. Poor parenting???? Lack of judgment???? Did the school fail???? Was it all of the above???

It bring tears to m eye to think of my child.......I thank God that he wasn't there!!!!
